Receipts must contain enough product information for the company to verify qualifying purchases. The company's terms also state that receipts older than 14 calendar days are not accepted for points and that there can be limits on the number of receipts a user can submit. 

This makes Fetch particularly appealing to people who already save their receipts. Instead of throwing a receipt away after a shopping trip, users can potentially turn it into points. The base points from scanning a receipt are only one part of Fetch. For example, a game might offer points for reaching Level 10, Level 20, or another milestone. Another game may reward the user for playing for a certain amount of time. Once a task has been completed, the points are generally added to your account within a few minutes, but Fetch states it can take up to 24 hours. 

Fetch users earn points, not a traditional hourly wage or guaranteed cash payment. The points can be redeemed for rewards offered through the Fetch platform. Fetch's terms specifically state that points themselves have no cash or monetary value and cannot simply be withdrawn as cash. 

Fetch's website advertises gift-card and other reward options and says its top users earn an average of $275 in yearly rewards, although individual results can vary substantially depending on how often someone uses the app and which offers are available to them. 

Is Fetch Worth Using? Whether Fetch is worthwhile depends largely on how someone uses it. For someone who already shops regularly, scanning receipts can be an easy way to accumulate small rewards over time. Checking special offers can increase the number of points earned, while Fetch Play provides another option for people who enjoy mobile games. The biggest advantage is that users can potentially earn rewards without changing their normal shopping habits.

The amount a person earns depends on purchases, available offers, referrals, gaming opportunities, and other activities. Offers and rewards can also change, and Fetch reserves the right to modify or discontinue them, of course.
